However, we are not looking for any cello teacher who has a certificate to join us. We are looking beyond that.
You should have:
- at least a Grade 8 in Cello from ABRSM or Trinity College London, or equivalent.
- at least a Grade 5 in Music Theory
- *the patience to teach and guide students
- *the ability to inspire students to love cello and music
*We consider this important because we have heard enough of de-motivational stories of students quitting music because their teachers are too strict, or they lose interest in cello because of the teacher’s teaching style.
